Reuters: the United States prohibit their citizens to travel to DPRK
Two travel agencies that conduct tours to North Korea, said that the US government will soon forbid its citizens to travel to that country, reports Reuters.
Tour operator Koryo Tours said that the ban will be announced on July 27 and will take effect in 30 days. The terms of the ban he was not known. Another operator Young Pioneer Tours said that he also informed of the ban.
Earlier it was reported that Washington may toughen sanctions against the DPRK because of the incident with the American student Otto Warmbier. He was sentenced to 15 years in a labour camp during tourist trips to North Korea organized by Young Pioneer Tour. However, in prison, he fell into a coma and spent more than a year. After his release, he died in a hospital in Cincinnati.
