SIMFEROPOL, 19 Jul – RIA Novosti, Victor Liashenko. Crimea will continue construction in the border area to enhance security on the Russian-Ukrainian border, said the Vice-Premier of the Crimean government Igor Mickle.
“For Crimea, one of the priority issues is the creation of protective structures in the border zone, these measures will allow to increase security on the Russian-Ukrainian border. Also important is the question of arrangement of territories adjoining to road checkpoints,” — said at a meeting of the boundary Commission of the Republic of Ukraine, quoted by the press service of the government.
In addition, according to him, the most important is to create comfortable and safe conditions for persons crossing the border.
At the meeting of Pogrankondushi decided to increase the capacity during the tourist season with the aim of smooth functioning of border crossing points.
In addition, it was decided to improve the condition of roads leading to the checkpoints, and to develop road service and mixed-use developments to create the most comfortable conditions for the passage of persons state control.
