The statement of the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk national Republic (DND) Alexander Zakharchenko on the establishment of the Ukraine is his personal initiative, said the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov. His words “Interfax” on Tuesday, July 18.
“In Moscow found out about it this morning from the media,” — said the representative of the Kremlin. He also added that Russia “remained committed to the Minsk agreements.”

Before Zakharchenko announced the creation of a new state within the borders of Ukraine. According to him, little Russia for three years will become a Federal state with broad autonomy. The capital will be in Donetsk, but Kiev will receive the status of historical and cultural center. The head of the DNI believes that the only way to resolve the conflict in the South-East of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the self-proclaimed representative of the Luhansk national Republic (LNR) on the negotiations in Minsk Vladislav Danego called the proposal Zakharchenko late. He pointed out the need to follow the Minsk agreements.
The Chairman of the people’s Council DND Denis Putilin, in turn, said that the project of the Ukraine is merely the idea. He stressed that it is first necessary to know the opinion of society on this account.
