Macron stated the exit on new level of cooperation with Russia on Syria
Moscow. July 16. INTERFAX.RU — President of France Emmanuel macron said in an interview with Journal du Dimanche that after talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Versailles cooperation between Paris and Moscow on the Syrian issue reached a new level.
“I’m stating after a meeting in Versailles that we have moved on those two issues,” he said about the “two red lines” regarding the Syrian dossier: a ban on the use of chemical weapons and providing humanitarian access to civilians.
He also said that France and Russia adopt joint measures to combat hacking. “It is necessary to develop a procedure to prevent the recurrence of pirate information attacks,” said the President, adding that France and Russia are working on it.
