the President of France Emmanuel macron said that his American counterpart, Donald trump promised him to think about the US’s participation in the Paris climate agreement from which the US withdrew in June. He told about it in interview to the newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche.
“Trump listened to me. He caught my thoughts, including the relationship of climate change and terrorism. He said he will try to find some solution in the coming months. We discussed options under which he may return to the Paris agreement”, — said the publication of the macron.

The Paris agreement in 2015 provides for the allocation of $ 100 billion to developing countries for climate solutions. In accordance with the provisions of the Protocol, developed countries and countries with economies in transition to reduce or stabilize emissions of environmentally harmful greenhouse gases.
