French writer Simone Changé, known under the pseudonym of Anne Golon, died in Versailles. About her daughter Nadine Goloubinoff told AFP on Sunday, July 16.

The writer was 95 years old. As noted, she struggled with the complications of peritonitis, however, has taken quite an active part in various activities.

Anne Golon — author of a series of books about the adventurer of the seventeenth century Angelica. Together with her husband Vsevolod Golubinov, who wrote under the pseudonym of Serge Golon, she has created 13 novels. First, “Angelique — Marquise of angels”, was published in 1957.

Based on the works of Golon was shot six films (“Angelique — Marquise of angels” 1964 and 2013, “Great Angelica”, “Angelica and the king”, “Untamable Angelique”, “Angelique and Sultan”) in five of them, the main role is played by French actress Michelle Mercier. In the latter film, released in 2013, the character played by Nora Arnezeder.
