Senator Viktor Ozerov at the meeting on Tuesday officially announced the resignation of the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security.
Earlier Ozerov RIA Novosti has confirmed that he wrote a letter of resignation from the post of head of the Committee at his own request, a final decision on it will make the Federation Council on July 12. The Senator explained his decision by the necessity of the rotation and his desire to “change the rhythm of life.” According to him, he remains the Senator from Khabarovsk territory.
