MOSCOW, July 13. /TASS/. About 18 million tourists will visit Moscow at the end of 2017. This was announced by the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin on Thursday, after seeing the new Hilton Garden Inn on the Upper Krasnosel’skaya street in the centre of the capital.

On Thursday during the inspection of the new Hilton Garden Inn on the Upper Krasnosel’skaya street the mayor also announced that 11 of the hotels will be built in the capital in 2017.
“One example of a quality investment in the industry is the project — Hilton hotel, — the mayor noted. He thanked the investor and the hotel operator for the establishment in Moscow of yet another high-quality tourist facility.
In just the last six years in Moscow were opened 42 new hotels.
The Hilton Garden Inn with a total area of 17.6 thousand sq. m was built in 2014-2016 First guests he accepted on March 14 this year. Total private investment in construction amounted to three billion rubles, while the planned payback period will not exceed 12 years.
The new hotel is rated 4-star class, it has 292 rooms, 16 of which are adapted for people with reduced mobility. In Moscow under the Hilton brand currently has four hotels.
