The Omsk Prosecutor’s office will check the legality of dismissal for refusing to chip in for a gift

The Prosecutor’s office of Omsk region organized a check after appearing in the media about the dismissal of the employee of a supermarket for refusing “to chip in on a gift” to the Deputy Director. This is stated on the Agency’s website.

“The Prosecutor’s office with involvement of specialists of the state labour Inspectorate in Omsk region will carry out an inspection of observance of labour legislation in the activity of this organization”, — stated in the message.

On 10 July, the newspaper “Omsk-inform” reported that the cashier of shop “Pjaterochka” on the street Nicholas Khudenko refused to participate in buying a gift guide for lack of money. Then the employee threatened to fire, and to call security. When the woman quit, the full calculation with her made the work book is not returned.

It is noted that in the past month working the cashier paid less than six thousand rubles. Prior to that, she together with colleagues for free prepared the store for opening.

In March the Penza regional court upheld the dismissal of a mechanic, who for years was on the hospital 29 times. Sick leaves he designed with different doctors in different medical institutions, formally notifying the workplace.
