The Kremlin has promised to speak by special agreement between Moscow and Kazan

Moscow is not yet ready to announce its position on the extension of the contract with Kazan, dividing the powers between the Federal and regional authorities. This was stated press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov on Wednesday, July 12, the correspondent “Tapes.ru”.

“Conceptual position will be formulated and announced,” — said the official representative of the Kremlin.

According to him, there is no clear understanding as to when the end of the document between the Federal centre and Republic. “There is a legal dispute, what is considered the end date of this agreement: on the 24th [of July] is the date of signing or on 11 August, the day of publication,” — said Peskov.

He also said that in the coming weeks in the schedule of the President is not meeting with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

A day earlier it was reported that deputies of the state Council of Tatarstan will appeal to the Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to extend the contract, which expires in the next two months.

Representing the draft of the Deputy Nikolai Rybushkin has noted that in the opposite case we will have to amend the legislation. In particular, parliamentarians were asked to maintain for the head of the Tatarstan office of President.

The contract on differentiation of powers between Republic and the Federal centre were signed in June 2007. SV document, for example, stipulates that the subject can maintain foreign trade relations, but international agreements should be coordinated with the foreign Ministry.
