The builders of the Crimean bridge started laying asphalt. This was reported at the bridge site.
Workers laid the bottom layer of asphalt concrete on four ready-made bridge spans on the island of Tuzla. Already finished more than 200 meters coating thickness of six inches. The top layer is planned to be laid, will be ready construction of road parts.
It is noted that the asphalt mixture is prepared with the use of modified bitumen with polymer additives, which makes the coating more durable, resistant to deformations and cracks.
At the end of June it was reported that work on the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait carried out by more than 50 percent, and the main components of a road part of the bridge ready for 70 percent. Earlier in the month was completed the Assembly of the railway bridge span.
In April, Minister of transport Maxim Sokolov told President Vladimir Putin that the construction is ahead of schedule.
