Trump spoke about the anticipation before a meeting with Putin at the G20 summit

The US President Donald trump on the eve of the summit of “Big twenty” stated that is looking forward to meeting world leaders, including his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. The head of state wrote in his Twitter on Friday, July 7.

“We’d have a lot to discuss. (…) I will worthily represent our country and fight for its interests! Fake media will never properly cover my actions, but who cares!” said trump, accompanied by the entry with hashtag #MAGA (Make America great again, which means “let’s Make America great again”).

The first personal meeting of Putin and trump is scheduled for 16:45 GMT on 7 July on the sidelines of the G20 summit. In a press-service of the White house has announced an “extended meeting” rather than a conversation eye to eye. It also noted that its duration will be about half an hour.

Moscow said the possibility of talks between Putin and trump on the sidelines of the “Big twenty” in a few months. Both sides in late June, confirmed the meeting. According to the Kremlin, the presidents may discuss bilateral relations, the Syrian conflict and the situation in the South-East of Ukraine. The White house focused on the Syrian issue.
