The structure of Rostec Moscow will turn garbage into electricity

A structural unit of Rostech “RT-invest” plans to build in Russia five incinerators, which will generate 335 megawatts of electricity. On Thursday, July 6, said the head of “RT-invest” Andrey Shipalov, reports TASS.

According to him, four of the five plant will be located in Moscow, one in Kazan. It is noted that this project only in the capital of the company will be able to recycle a fifth of the total volume of generated waste, which currently amount to 12 million tons per year.

Earlier on the website of “RT-invest” it was reported that four plants will be built in the Moscow region.

Only five factories are able to lose 2,95 million tons of waste annually.

The first plant will be built in 2021, said Shipilov. According to him, to 2023, mu will start work all five. Also the head of “RT-invest”, stressed that the project, which he called eco-friendly, will allow to provide electricity to about 1.5 million inhabitants.
