The state Department is told that he will discuss Tillerson and Poroshenko
WASHINGTON, 5 Dec — RIA Novosti. Secretary Rex Tillerson in the framework of his visit to Kyiv on 9 July to discuss with President Petro Poroshenko “full assistance” of the US in terms of maintaining the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, told reporters a senior state Department official.
“In its stop in Kiev us Secretary of state hopes to build relationships with the Ukrainian government, the Ukrainian people. The first was to confirm Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Through the assistance to Ukraine to resolve the conflict in the East of Ukraine through control of its international borders. This includes assistance to Ukraine in a wide range of opportunities,” — said the representative of the state Department.
He also added that he would discuss the continuation of reforms in Ukraine.
