Abe asks Putin and XI Jinping to take a “more constructive” stance toward North Korea

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will ask President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President XI Jinping to take a “more constructive” stance toward North Korea and its missile program. As reported by Reuters, he said Abe to reporters after the launch of North Korea missiles.

“World leaders gather at the G20 meeting. I would like to urge the international community to show solidarity on the issue of North Korea,” said Abe.

According to the Agency, Abe intends to discuss measures against North Korea with Putin and Jinping, during the meetings at the G20 forum.

Earlier on the morning of July 4, North Korea made another launch of a ballistic missile. According to reports, the missile flew more than 930 km in 37 minutes and fell into a zone of exclusive economic interests of Japan. In connection with the missile launch in South Korea and Japan was urgently convened the national security Council.
