The Russians called Germany the most attractive country for exile

This is according to the poll, received by RBC.

13% of Russians called Germany the most attractive country for permanent residence in 2016, the same opinion had 12% of respondents. In second place is the USA (10% at 2017 and 7% in 2016). Third place in the ranking took Australia — 7% of Russians would like to live in this country, in 2016, such a wish was expressed by 2% of respondents.

Just to move abroad would like 10% of Russians.

Among the respondents, such a desire was expressed 25% of young people (18 to 24 years) and 16% of people aged 25 to 34 years. Among the residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg about the desire to move was declared by 21% of respondents. 17% of respondents would like to move in a year or two compared to 7% in 2016. And fewer of those who did not think about the timing of the move — 43% this year, compared with 51% in 2016.

The Russians called the specific actions they are taking to move abroad: it is the accumulation of money and the collection of information about the country (20%), learning a foreign language (19%), consultation with relocated overseas acquaintances (15%). Respondents also spoke about the reasons behind the move: 33% of Russians say about the high standard of living abroad (in 2016, talked about this 50% of Russians). The rise of such factors as social stability (15% in 2017, compared to 7% in 2016), the climate and ecology (12% this year, up from 4% last year).

Also, the Russians indicated a higher level of culture (11%) and medicine (4%) in another country, the observance of human rights (10%) and the unemployment rate in Russia (4%). 13% of respondents cited one of the reasons why the lack of sympathy for the policies pursued by the authorities (7% of Russians said the same thing last year) and a categorical unwillingness to live in Russia (10% in 2017 and 3% of Russians in 2016). Along with this 89% of Russians would not want to leave Russia and move to live in another country.
