The government approved the rules for granting subsidies to the Russian Fund of culture

Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on the procedure of granting subsidies to the Russian Fund of culture. This is evidenced by the relevant document published on the website of the Cabinet.

“Grant will be provided under subprogramme “Art” of the state program “Development of culture and tourism” for 2013-2020 years”, — stated in the explanatory Memorandum.

It is noted that these funds are intended to “identify, study, protection, restoration and use of monuments of history and culture; the preservation, use, popularization and state protection of objects of cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia”.

Subsidies are also intended to facilitate book publishing and librarianship, the organization of festivals, fairs, exhibitions, auctions and competitions.

In October 2016, Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed the decree about creation of the all-Russian public organization “Russian culture Fund”.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian government has allocated more than 4 billion rubles for the development of universities.

The TV channel “360” passed in the summer of 2017 25 parks of the Moscow region will open street library, working on the principle of bookcrossing.
