The Cabinet approved the implementation plan of the Strategy for scientific and technological development of the country

The strategy is aimed at formation of a control system in the field of science, technology and innovation, providing investment attractiveness of the sphere of research and development.

MOSCOW, July 3. /TASS/. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree approving the plan of implementation of the Strategy for scientific and technological development of Russia. Document published on the government website.

The strategy is aimed at creating a modern system of management in science, technology and innovation, providing investment attractiveness of the sphere of research and development. Signed approved the implementation plan for 2017-2019, which includes measures of regulatory and organizational nature.

The plan, in particular, provides for the development and approval of the state program “Scientific-technological development of the Russian Federation”, which includes the program of basic research and integrated scientific and technological programmes in priority areas.

The implementation of such integrated programmes will be financed at the expense of other government programmes, development institutions and funds of support of scientific, scientific-technical and innovation activities.

Also the creation of opportunities for the successful realization of creative potential of young people in science and innovation, including through international technical and scientific cooperation.

Responsible for the execution of the plan will be Federal authorities, state corporations, development institutions, funds of support of scientific, scientific-technical and innovation activity, Russian Academy of Sciences, Executive authorities of constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Strategy of scientific and technological development of Russia was approved by President of Russia Vladimir Putin on 1 December 2016.
