The text of the oath for entry into the citizenship of the Russian Federation determined by the relevant working group of the State Duma.
The oath for joining the citizen of the Russian Federation was identified on Friday by a working group of the state Duma led by its speaker Vyacheslav Volodin. The Chairman of the construction Committee and legislation Mikhail Emelyanov said that the final choice of the text of the oath will be made on the results of surveys of citizens of Russia, reports “Газета.Ru”.
The selected text belongs to the head of the Committee on state building Pavel Krasheninnikov, and is reproduced in accordance with the project posted on the website of the Committee.
“I, name, have voluntarily and consciously taking Russian citizenship, do solemnly swear:
— to observe the Constitution and the legislation of the Russian Federation, to respect the rights and freedoms of its citizens;
— honestly perform the duties of the citizen of the Russian Federation for the benefit of the state and society;
— to respect and preserve the history, culture and traditions of multinational people of the Russian Federation”.
Recall that the idea of the oath of the citizen of Russia belongs to Russian President Vladimir Putin, who earlier instructed the state Duma to examine the options for the text of the oath.
