16 July in Moscow will earn a traveling summer cinema
The films will be show on the rooftops, in yards and in buildings — symbols of Soviet architecture.
Film screenings on rooftops, in yards and in buildings of the capital from 16 July to 27 August organised by the Department of culture of Moscow and the cinema network “Moschino”. Sites for summer experimental cinemas will be Khlebozavod № 9, the Narkomfin Building, yard 9th experimental quarter New cheremushek, as well as the Palace of pioneers on the Sparrow hills. All of these objects — monuments of modernism and constructivism.
In an unusual summer theaters Muscovites will be able to see the Soviet films, the plots of which are associated with builders and architects: “Time, forward!”, “Faithfully”, “to Love man”, “Cheremushki”. To translate movies shot on film, expect the film equipment of the last century. The screenings are held in conjunction with the project “Moscow through the eyes of an engineer”. Before viewing the films, participants will get tours and lectures on architecture. All sessions will be free to get they will have to register on the website of “Moschino”. “”Moscow cinema” is not only a network of cinemas, but urban projects of the Department of culture of the capital. We wanted to leave the walls of our cinemas and mobile cinema club “Movie the eyes of an engineer” — our first big project outside”, — said Svetlana Maximchenko, General Director of “Moscow cinema”.

It shows one day in the life of the builders of the Magnitogorsk metallurgical combine.
