“The Korean people came to the conclusion after going through the ordeal that the only way to protect vital rights and sovereignty is to respond to nuclear weapons in the same way. Whatever others may say, whatever sanctions, pressure and military attacks are neither followed, we will not retreat from the construction of the nuclear forces that protect the country’s sovereignty and the right of Nations to exist,” said North Korean diplomat.
