The number of attempts of interference in Russia’s internal Affairs from outside is so great that one can make a kind of “black book”. This was stated by Chairman of the interim Commission of the Federation Council for the protection of state sovereignty Andrei Klimov, reports “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” on Tuesday, June 27.
According to the Senator, only on the basis of US actions can make an impressive or even a book.
The study, he believes, will help to educate ordinary citizens, as well as useful to the elected representatives. “This book will be useful for the preparation of legislative proposals, we will look at the tools of our opponents and develop more reliable methods of protection,” — said Klimov at the meeting of the interim Commission of the Federation Council on the protection of the sovereignty and prevent interference in the internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
In particular, it is possible to study interferences of foreign countries in the Russian presidential election of 2000, said the Senator. In addition, according to him, during the second Chechen war were very active, “some southern States”.
Interim Commission for the prevention of interference in the internal Affairs of Russia was created when the upper house of Parliament on June 14. Its main function is to study the state of international law in this area, monitoring the activities of foreign States, as well as preparation of proposals on improvement of legislation.
About plans of creation of the authority became aware in early June. Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the initiative, noted that the interest of parliamentarians in this issue is justified.
