In Italy the journalist of the Russian news Agency RIA “Novosti” was denied the right to ask the foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin.

It is noted that before the press conference in Rome, the Russian journalist gave on the upcoming phone conversation, “Norman Quartet” question for Klimkin to the Italian diplomat in charge of the event.

“After some time, the Italian diplomat came back, saying that “it is necessary that this question was asked by someone from the Italians.” He explained that the Minister did not want to answer to a Russian journalist. In the end, the question was asked by Italian publication”, – told the Agency.

The Italian foreign Ministry did not defend freedom of speech and has made concessions to the Ukrainian Minister.
