FSIN boasted advanced methods of teaching adolescents in the colonies

Nearly 70 percent of juveniles in correctional colonies that successfully passed the Unified state examination. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the press-Bureau FSIN.

The Department believes that the high performance associated with the use of “advanced teaching methods and new approaches to the educational process.”

“Today, the unified state exam in 23 educational colonies passed 54 pupil and 14 children, are in detention centers. All graduates have successfully coped with the final test” — noted in a press-service of the penitentiary Department.

In early June, the FSIN announced the reduction in the number of minors in the Russian colonies. According to the Ministry of may 2017, in correctional colonies was a person in 1592. Over the past 15 years adolescents serving a sentence of imprisonment, became 10 times less. Positive changes associated with the decriminalization of several articles of the Russian Criminal code.
