The Supreme court reversed the decisions of two lower courts about collecting from the Federation Council member Franz Klintsevich 285 thousand rubles for a holiday in a sanatorium near Moscow “Rus”. About it his lawyer Sergei Khudyakov Tuesday, June 27, reported RIA Novosti.
Klintsevich said that he considers the current fair verdict. In the summer of 2016 the Ruzsky district court of Moscow ordered the Klintsevich, Vogelauer Russian Union of veterans of Afghanistan (RSVA), to pay 285 thousand rubles for a stay in the sanatorium “Russia” on the eve of new year 2015. The administration of the institution said that Afghan soldiers can be in a sanatorium free of charge if they have a referral from a doctor and the Senator and his companions medical records was not, however, they received “high quality food and qualified medical care”.
The Senator said that he has the right to break free and to be treated in “Russia” as a participant in the fighting, but did not use them and spend the holidays in a different location, drove to the resort only on 1 January to greet friends. The prosecution, according to him, arose from his long-standing conflict with the head of the organization “war Invalids” Andrew Chepurny and, in particular, from-for initiated by the Klintsevich check the activities of the latter.
