Russia is interested in development of relations with Ethiopia in all fields, said Monday the Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“We value our relations, which have more than centenary history, and are interested in further developing our partnership in all areas”, — said Lavrov at the meeting with the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ethiopia Workneh, Gebeyehu.
According to Lavrov, in Moscow appreciate “responsible, balanced line Ethiopia in world Affairs and its active role in the African Union and the regional organizations on the African continent.”
“The course contributes to the growth of its international authority,” — said the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
In turn, the Ethiopian Minister Lavrov thanked for the warm welcome.
“I want to assure you that we will continue to defend the position of Russia in international forums and within the framework of our international cooperation,” said Gebeyehu.
