The White house has concerns about what format the project will be implemented new restrictive measures against Russia. This statement was made by the representative of the office Sean Spicer. His words RIA Novosti reported.
“Our concerns are about how it can be implemented in the context of the existing sanctions and will it reach the desired goals,” said Spicer.
Spicer declined to comment on a draft sanctions on the merits, citing the fact that “now there is nothing to comment”. The bill has already passed approval in the Senate, now it is reviewed by the House of representatives. The White house also noted that the administration trump is confident in the effectiveness of the existing sanctions against Moscow.
On 14 June the US Senate approved the expansion of the list of anti-Russian sanctions. The sanctions involve the reduction of the term of financing Russian banks from 90 to 14 days. In addition, funding will be limited and the Russian energy companies up to 30 days. Also, the sanctions will fall those who are planning to invest in the construction of Russian export pipelines or provide the projects, services, technology or information support. According to the document, the American President Donald trump will not be able to remove, not to relax sanctions without the consent of Congress.
