The harvest of strawberries will start in the Moscow region on June 26. This was reported by the regional Ministry of agriculture and food on its website on Friday, June 24.
“Cold, rainy summer slightly delayed the date. But agronomists claim that heavy rains berry went only benefit. Late, but we still expect a good harvest,” — are reported words of the Minister Andrey Razin.
In Moscow hope that the crop of berries will reach thousands of tons. Razin also emphasizes that the suburban strawberries even more expensive to import, but is completely free from nitrates.
