He noted that the largest landfill in the village of Hrabrovo is very small, and to increase its power, you need to “make a row”. However, such plans have local authorities yet, said the official.
Balashikhinskiy solid waste landfill “Kuchino”, which was raised during the direct line with President of Russia Vladimir Putin, was closed June 23. The Minister of ecology and nature management of the Moscow region Alexander Kogan said that the debris there will be redistributed in Noginsk, Mozhaisk, Klin and Lyubertsy district of Moscow region.
The place previously occupied by a landfill, is planned to be used for recreational purposes. Kogan noted that it is possible to equip the mountain slopes or extreme Park.
To close the garbage dump on the eve ordered the Governor of Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov. As noted, the decision was made “pursuant to the orders of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.”
