Russian President Vladimir Putin said that science should help the Russian economy to become a world leader.
“Today, it (the study) needs to provide unconditional development of the Russian economy, and make it so that our country is not only fit, but was one of the leaders has already started the technological revolution, to new technological way Russia is listed as one of the leaders”, — quotes TASS Putin’s words.
Putin added that modern Russian science “the chances are definitely there, despite all the losses that Russian science has suffered in the 1990s and early 2000-ies”.
