Moscow. June 23. INTERFAX.RU — the state Duma on Friday endorsed a draft resolution on receipt of the relevant ministries and departments information about the investigation of the criminal case in connection with the deaths of six children in an accident in Balashikha.

The document was prepared on behalf of the Vice-speaker of the state Duma Irina Yarovaya, Igor Lebedev and the Deputy from LDPR Yaroslav Nilov and the Deputy from “United Russia” Olga Okuneva.

They pay attention “to contradictory information about the circumstances of the death of a child in a traffic accident on April 23 in the town of Balashikha, Moscow region, which caused a public outcry”. In particular, public discussion has caused the results of a forensic medical examination of the deceased child.

In this regard, the deputies find it necessary to conduct exhaustive and comprehensive investigation to establish all the circumstances of the death of the child.

In this regard, the Council has instructed the state Duma Committee on security and combating corruption and the state Duma Committee on family women and children to appeal to the leadership of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation to take under personal control investigation of this criminal case, “to take the entire complex of measures for the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of victims” .

The leader eserov Sergey Mironov, in his turn, noted that this case requires a special control on the part of government, and the public and the media. He reminded that a criminal case was opened only after the parents of the deceased child of despair came in may of this year to see him and he sent a Deputy request addressed to the head of the Main Department of internal Affairs across Moscow region Victor Paukova.

“The status of this case from the very beginning was accompanied by a mass of errors. Disappeared from CCTV footage, but there were absurd “data” expertise. I still don’t believe that the boy was drunk. (…) That says the father and other family members, indicates that during the life of the boy alcohol couldn’t get into his blood. I believe that no discounts are guilty in this matter, no hints negligence relatives are unacceptable,” he said.
