Russia will be forced to respond to the extension of us sanctions, said the official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“Sanctions always say some mirror methods. In the words of Mr. (Deputy foreign Minister Sergei. — RT) Ryabkov, the issue is under consideration. Alas, unfortunately, will be forced to react,” she said at the briefing.
On June 20, the U.S. Treasury extended sanctions against individuals and organizations in connection with the conflict in Ukraine. Sanctions were imposed against 38 individuals and organizations.
Ryabkov called the new anti-Russian sanctions “political gift” to the Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko.
