The main program of the XIX world festival of youth and students (WFMS) have been agreed. This was announced by the Chairman of the organizing Committee, first Deputy head of administration of the Russian President Sergei Kiriyenko on Friday, June 24, reports TASS.
According to him, the key part of the program of the world Federation of democratic youth has already approved. “We expect the meeting of the international organizing Committee (held on Friday in Moscow — approx. “Of the tape.ru”) in recommendations and suggestions, we still have some time,” — said Kiriyenko.
He stressed that the organization has engaged primarily representatives of youth organizations, the task of government is to coordinate all efforts.
The festival will befriend young people from all over the world, said the first Deputy head of the AP. According to him, subsequently, such events determine the future of the world: “Twenty thousand young participants, who will gather in Sochi in October, after a short period of time will make decisions related to the fate of each individual country, and later with the fate of the world.”
On 15 June it was reported that the organizing Committee has finished accepting applications from foreigners. Since October last year, they filed more than 50 thousand participants from 183 countries, will be approved in the form-10 thousand participants.
Nineteenth world festival of youth and students will take place from 14 to 22 October in Sochi. It will be attended by 20 thousand people aged 18 to 35 years. Holiday starts with a parade of international carnival in Moscow.
