The Governor of the Kemerovo region Aman Tuleyev had surgery on the spine, after which there was a complication of pneumonia, today she is cured. It on a press-conferences on Thursday, June 22, told the Deputy Governor on health care Valery Tsoy, reports “Interfax”.
“In October 2016 was exhibited indications of elective surgical treatment, but Aman Tuleyev was operated for seven months during his vacation,” said Choi.
According to him, the use of metal structures was carried out in Germany and lasted about nine hours.
He also pointed out that Tuleyev was not performed major surgical operations that could affect its performance. “Tuleyev did not change the heart valve, and also there were no amputations and other similar diseases, which rumor has it”, — said Choi. According to him, the exact time of rehabilitation of the Governor is unknown.
Acting chief of Department on work from mass media of administration of the Kemerovo region Alexey Dorogov at the same press conference, denied that Tuleyev wrote a letter with a request for resignation from the post of the head region.
“Tuleyev wrote in the statement. He is undergoing a course of rehabilitation, after which get back to work”, — said Doroshow. According to him, the Governor is in the city hospital in Kemerovo.

Aman Tuleyev headed the Kemerovo region in 1997, and then four times re-elected head of the region. It is the oldest Russian Governor.
