MOSCOW, June 22. /TASS/. Russia is considering the destruction of the us-led coalition aircraft su-22, the Syrian air force on 18 June as a contempt of the UN Charter, which requires thorough investigation. This was stated by the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“The Russian side considers such actions as a flagrant violation of international law, principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, disrespect for the UN Charter,” she said.
“We demand a thorough investigation by a us General referred to the incident and take the necessary measures to prevent recurrence of similar situations in the future”, – said Zakharov.
