Related to ISIS militants stormed the school building in the southern part of the Philippines
MOSCOW, June 21. /TASS/. Militants associated with a terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG banned in Russia), broke on Wednesday in the school building in the southern part of the Philippines. This was reported by Reuters.
According to representatives of local police, the militants took hostage the students.
On may 23 fighters of the extremist group “the Mouth” related to the ISIS, attacked the security forces of the Philippines city of Marawi in Mindanao. Since then, the city continues military operation which the security forces are waging against terrorists. Earlier, the General staff of the armed forces of the Philippines reported that government forces managed to destroy in the South, about 120 fighters of “the Mouth”, some 100 Islamists were surrounded.
