In the Metropolitan Chapter of the Ministry of emergency situations of Russia denied the information that on-site radioactive storage near Kurchatov Institute in Northwest Moscow, an explosion occurred, reports TASS.
“No state of emergency was not” — said the Agency interlocutor.
Informed about the explosion told the TV channel “360” referring to the informed source. According to him, emergency services were notified about the incident at 15:04 and at: Ploschad Akademika Kurchatova, house 1, building 1 sent 20 pieces of equipment. Threats to human life were recorded.
Also, according to the channel, there is a witness who noticed the smoke that rose slightly above the single-storey building to the transformer pad.
