The United States Senate’s decision on new anti-Russian sanctions are a dead end, stated the Chairman of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin at the meeting with first Deputy Chairman of the National Council of Austria Karlheinz Kopf.

Volodin said that the United States affect the interests of European countries and not even bother to discuss it with them at least at the parliamentary level.

Chairman of the state Duma complained that colleagues from the United States Congress lacks the ability to listen to others. And worst of all, because such decisions can hurt people, as it did in Iraq, Libya and now in Syria.

Volodin has reminded that Russia is open to dialogue, including with the United States. At the same time Moscow your position is to defend but not impose.
