The day of family, love and fidelity celebrated on July 8, decided not to do a holiday. Members of the lower Parliament rejected the first reading of the bill, reports the Agency “Moscow”.
The authors of the initiative were the deputies of the state Duma from LDPR Yaroslav Nilov and Alexey Didenko. In their opinion, it could make the holiday public value and contribute to the formation of a positive attitude towards family and marriage in society. It was also intended to increase the birth rate.
The number of public holidays could increase from 14 to 15 days, which would reduce the Fund of working time. Profile Committee of the state Duma concluded that for production it is not effective. In addition, it will increase spending budgets.
