Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the conflict in the Donbass cannot be solved with weapons, it is necessary to conduct direct negotiations between the parties to the conflict. He said this in an interview with the Director Oliver stone, reports RIA “Novosti”.
“Such conflicts in the Donbas can not be solved by weapons. Direct talks are needed. And the sooner our friends in Kiev will understand the better. But Western countries, Europe and the U.S., should help the Kiev authorities to understand this reality,” he said.
