In connection with the death of the famous German politician Helmut Kohl, Russian President Vladimir Putin recalled the words that he spoke about the relationship between Russia and Europe, RIA Novosti reported.

Helmut Kohl, who served as German Chancellor from 1982 to 1998, died on the morning of June 16 at 87 years old. His name in history, he entered through the reunification of West and East Germany. It was called the “father of German unification” and “Chancellor of unity”.
