Putin approved amendments to the Labour code
Moscow. June 19. INTERFAX.RU — President Vladimir Putin signed the Federal law “On amendments to the Labour code of the Russian Federation”, which, in particular, specify the procedure for establishing part-time work.
As reported on the website of the Kremlin, amendments to the articles of the Labour code specify the procedure for establishing part-time work, including giving the employee a break for rest.
Also specifies the accounting treatment of work carried out in excess of the working day on weekends and public holidays when calculating the duration of overtime which is paid at a higher rate.
In addition, it provides a rule according to which working part-time can be set long working hours, only if the agreement of the parties in the employment agreement established a shorter working week, but with a full working day (shift).
