First Deputy Chairman of state Duma Committee on civil society development issues, public associations and religious organizations Ivan Sukharev is preparing a draft law providing for criminal liability for the failure events. About this he told RT.
The Deputy noted that it is unacceptable to involve law-abiding citizens in political provocations.
“Now we see how to use a new tactic: at festivities in a crowd infiltrating provocateurs. In the case of the worst scenario in the crowd can be a crush and suffer absolutely innocent people,” — said RT].
According to him, the responsibility for such provocations have to be hard.
Under the proposed amendments, the promoter may incur the penalty of imprisonment from 1 year to 15 years, if it killed one or more people.
