Chief of Regardie Viktor Zolotov has compared anti-corruption protests with “color revolutions”.

“Protests have a clear systematic and is conducted according to similar scenarios, and the color revolutions in other countries. The true purpose of the fight against corruption are replaced by a total destabilization and creating chaos. Under the pretext of violations of human rights and democratic freedoms in Russia and the media Union, the UK and the US are the constant media attacks to discredit the political leadership of our country,” said gold in an interview to “Interfax”. According to him, for the “loosening” of the situation the company uses “the feelings of good citizens.”

Gold outlined one of the main tasks of Department headed by it “counter attempts to destabilize the situation in the country.”

The last time anti-corruption events were held in Russian cities on the day of Russia on June 12. One of the rallies took place in Moscow, where opposition politician Alexei Navalny has unilaterally abandoned agreed with the authorities of the city protests and urged his supporters to go out on Tverskaya street. Navalny himself in the end did not come because he was detained at an entrance of own house before going outside. For organising illegal protests, Navalny was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
