In the shopping center Andino in Colombia’s capital Bogota was a blast. At least one person was killed and 11 were injured. It is reported by Noticias RCN.

The incident happened around 17.00 local time. Witnesses report about explosion in the area of the toilets on the second floor of the building.

The mayor of Bogota Enrique Penalosa called the incident a terrorist act. President Juan Manuel Santos expressed his condolences to the victims and urged the Director of the national police of Colombia, General Jorge Hernando Nieto for the early investigation.

On 17 April in the Colombian city of San Pedro in a grenade explosion at a nightclub suffered a few dozen people. The police considers two versions of what happened. According to one of them, an explosive device planted people moving on the bike. According to another version, a grenade belonging to one of the regulars of the club, exploded accidentally.
