Videoconferencing abolished in Syria, the two field commanders of ISIS and 180 militants

MOSCOW, June 17. /TASS/. The Russian space forces on 6 and 8 June attacked the “Islamic state” (IG banned in Russia) and killed two field commanders and 180 militants who were planning to break into the city of Deir ez-Zor. This was reported in the defense Ministry.

As explained in Department, in early June the Russian military using drones spotted training groups IG, which was going to break through defensive lines blocked in the city of Deir ez-Zor garrison of government troops.

“As a result of pre-emptive air strikes on 6 and 8 June, the Russian space forces inflicted on targets of ISIS militants (formerly ISIS – approx. TASS), was eliminated warlords of ISIS, Abu Umar al-Beliki and Abu Yasin al – Masri. In addition, destroyed about 180 militants, 16 units of automotive and armored vehicles, one artillery piece, four control room, a warehouse of weapons and ammunition”, – is spoken in the message.

The siege of Deir ez-Zor continues in 2014. Its Eastern part occupied by ISIS gangs; the Western and southern regions, as well as a military airfield under the protection of soldiers of the government forces.
