Russian President Vladimir Putin said that were proud of their parents. He said this in an interview with the American Director Oliver stone on Showtime, reports RIA “Novosti”.
Putin said that his mother died in 1998 and his father in 1999. Responding to a question from stone, the President reiterated that he was proud of his parents.
“Father didn’t live literally two months before I was appointed Prime Minister. But even before I was appointed Prime Minister, he nurses, when I came, always said, “my President is coming”, – said Putin.
Earlier Putin during a “straight line” spoke about the illness of his father.
