The majority of Russians stated the need for a direct line with Putin

The majority of Russians support the holding of direct line with President Vladimir Putin. This is according to the survey of Fund “Public opinion” (FOM).

So, 74 percent of citizens declare the necessity of the straight line with the head of state. More than half (57 percent) of respondents believe that it affects the situation in the country. Every third — 32 percent — said effective this format to address specific questions. The Russians, in particular, noted that after talking with the President of the local authorities begin to work better, overall life is changing for the better.

At the same time, 29 percent do not see the connection between straight line and state Affairs. According to the study, 18 percent of respondents believe that the press conference you can spend less or even do without it.

On 14 June, the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov, said that most of the questions in a direct line with Putin required to solve the local government, but citizens are often easier to reach the President.
