Putin called the reasons for the change governors

Russian President Vladimir Putin during a straight line said about the reasons for the appointment of new governors: someone deadline approached, someone posed the question, “we felt that people already want change”.

During the “straight line” the President was asked about the reasons for the many recent appointments of new governors and all governors-recruits do their jobs.

“In many places already the time came for the governors, many of them have already worked for more than 10 or even more years, and, frankly, themselves have raised the question about how to use them in other areas. We felt that people already want change. and that is why we initiated this process,” — said Putin on this.

About cope or not cope governors, the President added, “this is primarily a question for citizens.” “Some of the elected leaders of the regions, before going to the polls, worked there for a year, and when I went to the polls, people have voted for them, trust them with the fate of the region. Therefore, we can say that the voters decided that these candidates make it,” he said.

“But, of course, the results of any elections is an advance payment which is given to people for managers at the beginning of his work on this new high office,” — said Putin.
