Putin called the decline in maternal and infant mortality in Russia is the main achievement in the social sphere
Russian President Vladimir Putin during a “Straight line” called the reduction of maternal and infant mortality in the Russian Federation main achievements of the country in the social sphere.
“The main one is our achievement… we have significantly decreased infant and maternal mortality. Since 2000, the infant fell three times, and parent — almost four times”, — said Putin.
“Now these data shows none of the social sphere, perhaps in the world,” he added, noting that the result of this was the increase in life expectancy from 70 to 72 years.
